The two Lagondas pictured, the V12 of 1939 and the 2.6 of 1952, were conceived by the great car designer Frank
Feeley. It can be seen that the wing lines have much in common but the grill of the 2.6 is not so bold as that of the
V12. It just happened that I owned two Lagondas finished in grey, their original colour, which helps to show the
overall resemblance in design.
My Rover has been resprayed black which was its original colour.
